Nobellum Launches WISE
Empowering Women in STEM and Entrepreneurship
Toronto, ON – [August 15, 2025] – Nobellum, a leader in inclusive innovation, today announced the launch of its WISE (Women in STEM and Entrepreneurship) Program, a transformative initiative designed to equip women founders with the tools, mentorship, and investor access needed to scale globally competitive ventures.
Breaking Barriers in STEM
Despite progress, women—especially Black and racialized women—remain underrepresented in STEM fields and entrepreneurship:
Only 4% of venture capital in Canada goes to women-led businesses.
Fewer than 25% of women-led enterprises in Africa and the Caribbean access scaling programs.
WISE addresses these disparities through a two-phase approach:
WISE Week Canada (October 4–10, 2025): A high-impact series of events for program participants featuring investor pitch competitions, Elevate Festival, and the Afri-Can Caribbean Global Roundtable at Toronto.
WISE Bootcamp (October 1–November 29, 2025): An 8-week cohort program offering hands-on training, mentorship, and Demo Day funding opportunities.
