Position Overview
The Revenue Officer will work with the Chief Revenue Officer to identify and support funding opportunities that help sustain Nobellum’s programs, community events, initiatives, and startup awards.
Key Responsibilities
- Research sponsors, funders, and organizations aligned with Nobellum’s mission
- Support partner outreach including introductions, meeting scheduling, and follow-ups
- Promote Nobellum events and engage the community across digital and in-person channels
- Support the community engagement committee with logistics and note-taking
- Collaborate across Revenue, Programs, Marketing, and Senior Leadership
- Maintain the partnership progress tracker and support handoffs across teams
- Provide reporting, administrative, and operational support to the Revenue team
- Surface and document innovator success stories
- Contribute to impact reporting and documentation for funders and stakeholders
Learning Outcomes
- Hands-on experience in nonprofit revenue generation, prospect research, and partnership development
- Practical stakeholder management and professional communication skills
- Exposure to cross-functional collaboration in a growing social enterprise
- Working knowledge of CRM and pipeline tracking, meeting facilitation, and operational coordination
- Transferable storytelling, content development, and impact measurement skills
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a post-secondary program in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent lived/work experience
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Canva, Asana, and AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude
- Some experience building or maintaining stakeholder, client, or community relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Interest in networking, partnership development, and the startup or nonprofit ecosystem
- Collaborative mindset with initiative and a results-oriented approach
- Emerging leadership skills demonstrated through school, work, volunteer, or community experience
Time Commitment
- Full-time (35 hours/week)
- Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required based on event timing
