Investor Trade Mission to Jamaica
Canada–Jamaica Investor Trade Mission Launches to Forge Next-Generation Economic Partnerships
Kingston, Jamaica – June 12, 2025 — In a bold move to accelerate cross-border innovation and diaspora investment, Nobellum Enterprise officially announces the launch of the Catalyst for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) Jamaica Accelerator alongside the Canada–Jamaica Investor Trade Mission, taking place from June 12 to 14, 2025, in Kingston, Jamaica.
This high-level mission, led by Nobellum and backed by anchor partners including the Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ), VM Wealth Management, and Firehood, brings together Canadian investors, Jamaican entrepreneurs, and ecosystem leaders to drive inclusive innovation across the African diaspora and Caribbean. The event will culminate with CEI Demo Day, featuring groundbreaking startups competing for an angel investment and global visibility.
WHY THIS MATTERS NOW
The CEI Jamaica Accelerator and Trade Mission arrive at a critical inflection point. With diaspora wealth expected to exceed USD $1.3 trillion by 2030, and Jamaica’s entrepreneurial ecosystem seeing year-over-year growth in high-potential startups, this mission bridges key gaps in capital access, strategic networks, and scalable solutions.
The initiative directly supports Jamaica’s Vision 2030 national development plan and Canada’s Global Black Economic Empowerment efforts, while showcasing Nobellum’s mission to launch 100 Black-led startups by 2030.

The trade mission is designed to spark bilateral investment, deepen innovation pipelines, and strengthen long-term partnerships through:
Roundtable discussions with government ministers and policy leaders

Business-to-business matchmaking between Canadian investors and Jamaican founders
Investor-founder sessions for active deal flow and mentorship
